HOW WOMEN CAN GET INVOLVED WITH THE MEN'S GROOMING PROCESS- PART 2

Previously, we shared some tips about ways women could help the men in their lives care for their beards.  But beard care is only one part of his grooming routine.  In a 2016 Complex article, women revealed some of their biggest gripes about male grooming.  Among them, excessive body hair, bad hair, and over-the-top routines were referenced most often.  If these conditions bother you as well, there’s some steps you can take to help him out.

SHOW HIM GROOMING IS MASCULINE

Quite often, guys will skip out on skincare or grooming routines because they associate it with feminine behavior.  Let him know you won’t view him as any less masculine if he uses a hair gel or a face wash.  In fact, let him know you appreciate the attention to detail.  You can even share some best practices with him that are easy to grasp.

GO SLOW

Odds are, even the most low maintenance guys are vaguely familiar with face wash and moisturizer.  But if adjusting his grooming routine requires some big changes, be patient.  Don’t expect him to graduate from bar soap and water to a Barcode All Natural Moisturizing Body Bar overnight.

TAKE THE FIRST STEP

If he’s left to his own devices, he’ll wander into the nearest Walgreens and buy whatever’s cheapest.  Save him the trouble and buy him the kind of products you’d like him to use.  He’ll take your word for it.  Our All Natural Facial Kit is a great place to start.

When it comes your man’s grooming routine, it may take a little nudging (and some patience) to see some results.
